For everyone who keeps saying the Xbox Backwards Compatibility never gets any good games available for it, today is your day. Major Nelson has just informed us of a bunch of new games. Here we go:
SWEET!!! Joe Danger is now here!! OK, fine. You want bigger? We got it:
BOOM!!! Crystal Quest AND Comic Jumper. Oh, AND I AM ALIVE!! What? You aren’t impressed? I don’t know how you couldn’t be. Crystal Quest is really fun and Comic Jumper is a colorful shoot-fest. I haven’t played I Am Alive, but I hear it’s good. Geez, you guys are really…

For those who have been waiting for the official Fallout 4 Creation Kit to become available on PC officially (it had been in beta for a little while), today’s the day you’ve been looking forward to. You can now mod with the actual tools Bethesda used to create the best-selling game fans have been putting hundreds of hours in since November. Here are the tweets that shared this news:
Another tweet gave a hint at consoles.
We’ve all been there…
The link in those tweets directs you here, with even more news. More specifically, at least for us “lowly console peasants” in that we have a rough timeline for mods ourselves. May for Xbox One (I’m guessing after Far Harbor) and June for PlayStation 4…

***VIDEO REVIEW COMING SOON***
I love soda. Like, LOVE love soda. True, I don’t drink anywhere near as much as I used to, but absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? I think I heard that somewhere before. Probably on a commercial, or a sky sign ad, or even a matchbox. The point I’m trying to make is, I love the damn drink. And since I don’t really imbibe much anymore, pretending to drink soda via Soda Drinker Pro on my favorite gaming console is sure to make me feel great. Right? RIGHT?!
Wrong. As the original FPS (First Person Soda – self dubbed), it’s not easy to judge this on other games available for your hard-earned cash. Nothing close to really compare and contrast, anyway. There’s just not much similar to use as a barometer. Now, I said it wasn’t easy, not impossible. Since we can’t really use…

For those interested, you can find that stream either on our Twitch or our YouTube pages. I’ll also link it below to watch here. This stream will happen at least once a week, with the goal to be Sundays in late afternoon or early evening. How long we go depends on the world around us. If we get enough fever for it, I will look to up the schedule, but, I think once a week is fine for now. Let us know what you think, good or bad in the comments down below.
“The beginning of our journey to the end of Fallout 3. We start off in Vault 101 and end in Megaton.
I’m sorry, I had no idea my mic is apparently dying. No one told me in the chat and we had plenty of people watching. And they were responding to me, so… I’ll fix that for…

This week’s podcast is pretty great, if I do say so myself, which I do. Austin gets really deep into Quantum Break and is surprisingly interested in play Gears of War 4 this October.
Bringing on more surprises, Chris actually liked Octodad after playing it through a friend (wink, wink).
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a drink or twenty while we talk about video games and stuff.
Download this episode as an MP3 or find us on iTunes and SoundCloud. Thanks!!
What are we playing?

Is this re-release worth your time?
Vehicular combat games are nothing new today, but they were all the rage in the days of the PlayStation 1 and 2, N64, GameCube, Dreamcast, and Xbox. Cel shading was also starting to take its place in gaming around the turn of the century. When these 2 things formed an alliance together, we were treated with Cel Damage in 2001. This was a game that didn’t get the best critical acclaim (not these guys), but under the right circumstances, could be just what you were looking for. A game I owned on Xbox (at launch) and later down the line on GameCube to play with my cousins, where I’d destroy their young egos with cartoon-y mayhem. Since those days of racing and destruction have been over, I’d unfortunately forgotten just about everything I knew about this game. I guess I’ve played too many games and…

According to a tweet sent out yesterday by Microsoft, April’s Games With Gold may be the biggest/best one yet:
The link just points to the Xbox site for Games With Gold, so we get no further hints there. Now, obviously everything right now is just me (and the internet) speculating, but that has to be a good sign, right? I think Microsoft did a great job with March’s releases, so to follow up on that with what they’re calling “blockbusters” has to be a good sign. Right? Here’s hoping they didn’t open up a can of rotting worms with this one.
***A RUMORED 3RD CONTROLLER IS AT THE BOTTOM***
If you listen to our podcast (and you should, I am a *delight in every regard), you may remember I mentioned that there leaked a listing for 2 new controllers for the Xbox One, rumored for next month. Well, that leak was taken down just a bit after I noticed it, during the show, in fact, but now, we have full confirmation.
The Dusk Shadow version will be exclusive to Best Buy, for the reason I am assuming being that it’s blue.
The Copper Shadow version will be exclusive to GameSop, for the reason I am assuming being that people seem to think GameStop is shit. That is not my personal opinion, however.
Above you can see (and enlarge) all the current Special Edition controllers Microsoft has for sale at various retailers (I still wish they sold the sweet…
